The Ninja Warriors program is offered in Term 1 and 3, focussing on gross motor skills in the areas of strength, endurance and coordination. This program will be hosted at BBC facilities and co-delivered by our allied health professionals and BBC boys, who team up to get our members moving, challenge themselves and have fun!
The program will work on individual and team based skills, and give children and adolescents the opportunity to learn new skills and progress at their own rate.
Children and adolescents who want to work on strength, coordination and social skills, or who enjoy being active. We are able to cater to children of different ages and abilities, so please contact our staff for further information.
What to expect...
BBC boys and Active Eight members will work collaboratively to participate in gymnastics, strength, conditioning, and obstacle based activities, with guidance and support from our facilitators.
$30 per session or $180 for the 6 week program.
The program will run each Friday for 6 weeks from 1:30-2:15pm, 2:15-3:00pm and 3:30-4:00pm.
Sessions will be hosted on the Brisbane Boys campus in their gymnasium and will provide a platform to build capacity for future exercise and activity.
Partnering with BBC students allows this program to prioritise development of friendship and understanding alongside the physical benefits of sport based activity.
