Therayoga

With over 20 years experience teaching yoga to all ages and abilities, Michelle McLeod is passionate about yoga's ability to create clarity of mind, body and soul. With the needs of her students in mind, Michelle has a developed TheraYoga, a combination of all that yoga and therapy has to offer, in a way that encourages our A8 members to thrive socially, emotionally and physically.

Michelle's holistic approach encompasses a blend of compassion, energy and fun. Her program focusses on behaviour regulation, anxiety and stress reducing techniques and sensory processing. These one-on-one sessions will be designed towards the needs and goals of the individual A8 member through yoga techniques that develop mobility, strength, control and relaxation. 

TheraYoga compliments Active Eight’s inclusive group classes (check out yogacise) with many of the activities working towards the member's ability to thrive in a social group environment.  The TheraYoga program is designed with a personalised, goal-oriented journey plan and outcomes reporting framework, including tailored resources for students to apply in everyday life.
